One reason I enjoy working with couples is that couple therapy helped me and my wife so much. We happened to find a very talented couples counselor who happened to practice Gottman Method Couple Therapy. It worked, and later on, when I became a counselor myself, I found myself using the same Gottman techniques that helped us so much when we were clients. I now use a blend of Gottman Method techniques and Solution-Focused approaches to help couples reduce conflict and increase connection.
My approach to individual psychotherapy and the healing relationship is informed by an eclectic variety of personal and professional experiences. As a GM with Fortune 500 retail companies, I’ve been coaching and counseling individuals and teams for almost 20 years, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve success. As a language teacher living and working overseas, I broadened my awareness and appreciation for ways of life much different than my own. My spiritual journey led me to study Christian theology at Brite Divinity School and later to Eastern thought. My practice as a counselor and therapist lies at the intersection of Western science and Eastern wisdom.
Types of Therapy: Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method Couple Therapy, Nonduality
