God has given me the privilege of walking alongside those who are hurting, helping them reach their goals, and equip them to overcome their struggles. Through collaboration, we will find solutions that work for you. Together, we will maximize your ability to work toward reaching your goals. If you are ready for a change, I will help you re-write your story.
I have experience with children and teens and work closely with parents to set and achieve goals. I have a background in education, and I am familiar with teens and enjoy helping them through this challenging life stage. I also work with first responders. Having been married to a police officer for many years gives me a unique insight and understanding of challenges first responders face. I believe clients have problems but are not the problem. As a Solution Focused Brief Therapist, I help clients establish goals and provide support and encouragement as they navigate through their challenges.
Types of Therapy: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Art Therapy.
About Myself:
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and being in nature. You can often find me outside with our many pets. My family is one of my greatest joys. I am married with 2 amazing daughters who each have growing families of their own.
Specializations:
I have experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, and first responder issues. I am currently working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (supervised by Meredith Ivey, LPC-S, RPT-S).
