About Myself:
About me:
I have always loved to learn and I have developed that love and passion to help others gain new skills and cope with challenges that life can bring. I have been fortunate to volunteer at Crisis Text Line which provides support to those in difficult moments. I have also helped at Healing House, which provides grief support for children and caregivers in a group setting. I am currently looking to expand my knowledge and experience to better assist couples and those struggling with perinatal mental health. I enjoy spending time with family, trying new things, and, like a Louisiana native, king cakes and crawfish boils.
Areas of Focus:
Anxiety & Depression
Stress & Burnout
Self-harm & Suicide Ideation
Grief & loss
Life Transitions
Coping skills & Emotion regulation
College mental health
Perinatal mental health
Trauma & PTSD
LGBTQIA+ issues
