Education and Experience:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas
Doctorate Clinical Psychology (Current) – The University of Arizona Global Campus
M.A. in Professional Counseling from Webster University, St. Louis Mo, 2007
B.S. in Occupational Education (BSOE) Wayland Baptist University, Plainview TX, 2004

Through my educational pursuits and my personal life experiences, I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges that life events can unexpectedly throw at us. These circumstances can throw us off balance in a way that disrupts our lives. The decision to seek counseling can be a very sensitive one that usually occurs at a delicate time. Choosing the “right” therapist for yourself, your significant other, or anyone important in your life, involves the willingness to invest and commit to the process. I will continue to assist those in need by utilizing strength-based and person-centered approaches, remaining non-judgmental and genuine in warm and always welcomed setting.

Types of Therapy:
My professional orientation has been based on the Cognitive Behavioral model however, I believe that there is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. With over 20 years’ experience providing behavioral management and mental health services, I utilize an array of integrative therapy techniques in order to meet the individualized treatment needs of each person.

About Myself:
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I believe that it is vitally important to provide individuals with a safe place to promote healthy recovery, growth, and personal development. I find it also critical to promote an environment which encourages the sharing of concerns, feelings, and all other issues which may be impacting one’s life. Through a collaborative process, I partner with my clients in order to assist in exploring and processing present day challenges or unresolved conflicts or trauma.
