Julia is a passionate mental health professional with extensive experience across diverse clinical and community settings. Her background includes providing therapeutic services in nonprofit organizations, outpatient clinics, juvenile and adult probation systems, inpatient and emergency psychiatric hospitals, partial hospitalization and intensive treatment programs, as well as private practice. She has supported individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families. Julia has experience working with first responders, active-duty service members, military veterans, and healthcare professionals.
About Myself:
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that individuals possess an innate capacity for healing. By exploring memories, beliefs, emotions, and body sensations, we can work through difficult experiences that leave us feeling stuck or hinder our daily lives and relationships. I trust in the resilience of the human spirit and in our collective ability to move towards lives filled with purpose and belonging. My goal is to support clients in accessing their own healing potential so they can experience life with greater ease, joy, and authenticity.
I draw from lived experiences as a mental health practitioner, a wife, the daughter of a veteran and a social worker, a mother to both a neurodivergent child and a neurotypical teen, a certified yoga instructor, and a trauma survivor. These roles shape the way I connect, understand, and show up for those I work with.
Specializations:
Anxiety, Trauma and PTSD
Expertise:
Depression, Dissociative Disorders, Mood Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, parenting, relationship issues, substance use, women’s issues, and grief/loss.
