About Myself:
Elisabeth works with a wide range of individuals to provide support for daily issues, such as anger, anxiety, or sadness as well as those experiencing life changes like death of a family member or parental divorce. She began her career as a teacher and uses valuable lessons learned in that role to help her connect with children and their families. She has since provided therapy to children, teens, and young adults across various settings, including early childhood centers, schools, and private practice. Elisabeth uses a developmental and person-centered approach that allows her to meet every client exactly where they are. For younger children, this is often done with play therapy. As kids get older, she incorporates more art and games, allowing clients to get comfortable without the pressure often associated with discussing personal details with a stranger. With adults, her approach is more solution-focused, incorporating skill-building when appropriate. Elisabeth's primary goal is to help every client understand how worthy and capable they are without having to change the core of who they are.
Specializations:
Elisabeth's main passion is working with children, teens, and parents. Challenges she has worked with include anxiety, depression, behavior challenges, divorce, adoption, and trauma. She has extensive experience working with the neurodivergent population, specifically autistic individuals and their families. She also has experience working with the LGBTQ+ population and will always be a fierce advocate for her clients.
