With 13 years of experience working in a hospital setting, Briana has developed a deep understanding of the emotional demands placed on medical professionals, patients, and families. Her experiences ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in counseling with the goal of serving those who dedicate their lives to helping others. She specializes in working with trauma, medical trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions. Briana also has completed basic training in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and is passionate about continuing her education and expanding her expertise in this area.
Briana believes that healing involves more than addressing symptoms, it requires understanding the whole person and the experiences that have shaped them. She values each client's unique story and strives to help clients process emotions, gain insight, and build lasting resilience.
About Clinician:
I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine, human, and rooted in authentic connection. My goal is to meet you where you are, creating a space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences without fear of judgment. Together, we can identify patterns that may be contributing to your struggles, process difficult emotions, and develop practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
I enjoy helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves while encouraging them to embrace their authentic selves. Whether you're navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, work-related stress, or life transitions, I strive to provide a therapeutic experience that feels approachable, collaborative, and empowering. I am committed to lifelong learning and continuously expanding my clinical skills so I can provide the highest quality care to the clients I serve.
Outside of work, I enjoy learning new crafts, reading across a variety of genres, playing board and video games, and spending time with my family and our many animals.
