Jennifer has experience working with children and teens and collaborates closely with parents to set and achieve meaningful goals. With a background in education, she is well-acquainted with the unique challenges adolescents face and finds fulfillment in supporting them through this important life stage. Jennifer also works extensively with first responders. Having been married to a police officer for many years, she brings a distinctive understanding and insight into the specific stresses and demands experienced by those in this profession. She believes that while clients face problems, they themselves are not the problem. As a Solution-Focused Brief Therapist, Jennifer helps clients establish clear goals and provides ongoing support and encouragement as they navigate their challenges.
About Myself:
I consider it a true privilege to walk alongside individuals in their journey toward healing and growth. With compassion and a deep respect for each person's story, I help clients identify their strengths, reach their goals, and overcome the challenges life presents. As a Solution-Focused Brief Therapist, I believe that while people may experience problems, they are not defined by them—and that they already possess the inner resources needed for change. Together, we will uncover practical solutions that align with your values and vision for the future. My role is to support, encourage, and empower you as you set meaningful goals and navigate life's difficulties. If you're ready for change, I'm here to help you re-write your story. I also have a strong background in animal-assisted therapy. My therapy dog, Finley—a friendly and intuitive Labradoodle—occasionally joins sessions at the center, offering warmth, comfort, and a few well-timed smiles.
Outside of the therapy room, I cherish spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors. I’m a proud wife and mother to two amazing daughters, each raising beautiful families of their own. Our home is filled with the joyful chaos of our many pets, and I find great joy in the simple moments we share together.
